Motion design

SaaS explainer videos, rendered from code.

SaaS explainer videos, product launch videos and product demo videos made from your real product. Built with the same tools I use to ship software, so the video can change as fast as the product does.

Live canvas. Move your cursor over it.

Films

Portfolio reel

16:9 · 20 s loop · Remotion

One continuous take: the name folds into its cursor, the cursor floods into a product, six live products unfold as a grid, and a halftone builds the mark.

Product reel

16:9 · 28 s loop · Remotion

A dark product film: a loading bar opens into a browser window, real product windows fan out, close-ups cut on the beat, and every card collapses back into the logo.

SaaS explainer video questions

What is a SaaS explainer video?

A short video that shows what your software does and why it matters, usually 45 to 90 seconds, for your homepage, sales calls and onboarding. Mine use your real product screens, animated, instead of illustrated stand-ins.

How is this different from an explainer video agency?

An agency usually hands your brief to an animator who redraws your interface. I am a developer, so I build the video in code from your real UI. Changing a screen, a price or a line of copy is an edit, not a re-animation.

What do you need for a product launch video?

Access to the product or a staging account, your logo and brand colours, and the one sentence the video must say. I write the storyboard and copy with you before anything moves.

What formats do you deliver?

MP4 files in the ratios you need: 16:9 for your site and YouTube, 9:16 and 4:5 for social feeds, 1:1 and 4:3 for product demo loops, plus a poster frame.

How every film is made

Brief and facts
One sentence the film must say, and a list of the only claims allowed on screen.
Storyboard on a beat grid
Every shot timed to the music, with exact copy and a reading time check for each line.
Style frames
Stills of the key moments, signed off before anything moves.
Built in code
React and Remotion, with your real product UI, so every edit is a change to code, not a re-render from scratch.
Measured, then reviewed
Automated checks for frozen frames, one-frame pops and loop seams, then an independent critic review.
